Parent Education Workshops
• A lively mix of experiential activities that are both fun and effective.
• A “learning by doing” approach to transform abstract concepts into
creative, diverse, high interest, practical lessons that help ensure math success
for all learners.
• To infuse a love of math into both everyday and lifelong learning.
Participants will choose from a grab basket of math toys and tools to take home.
This is an adult workshop suitable for those educating children Grades 1-4 (ages
6-10).
Marin Lipowitz holds a Masters Degree in Waldorf Education, and has years of
experience as a class teacher. She’s taught classes in hands-on science and
math to homeschoolers, grades 1-6, and was a high school independent studies
teacher as well as a an educational facilitator for charter school students, K-12.
The rich gifts and effectiveness that Waldorf Education brings combined with an
in-depth knowledge of state and national educational standards provide an
excellent foundation for Marin’s innovative approach.
