*These classes replace the drama classes that were previously offered at WLR. Students will learn and
develop speaking skills, similar to drama class, but with more emphasis on skillful use of the voice. For
the younger students, an emphasis on fun oral exercises will be used to help develop phonemic
awareness and literacy. For the older students, the focus will be on desirable speaking skills, including
the elements of tone, facial expression, eye contact, and voice projection.
